Gem Logistics and Pegasus in three-year pact

Gem Logistics has signed a three-year agreement with documentary producer Pegasus to manage its complete logistical and distribution requirements in the UK.

Gem will be responsible for all Pegasus warehousing, distribution to UK retail, invoicing and credit control as well as handling returns.

Pegasus has more than 800 titles in its catalogue. As well as extensive Film, Music & Children’s DVD ranges, it includes themed sections such as “Warfile”, “History Zone” ,”Animal Nation” ,”Country Store”, “Saucy Cinema”, “Classic Cowboy” “Storybook Classics”, & “Cupid’s Arrow”.

Pegasus Audio includes CD Ranges covering 800 lines from Classical to Rock, singles, 2CD and 3CD multipacks. Labels include, “Pegasus Budget”, “Memory Lane”, “Ambiant Heaven”, Stictly Dance”, “Classic Composer”, “Kootie Bear” and “Heroes”.

Pegasus Managing Director Dennis Lloyd said joining Gem would not only look after existing accounts but would help attract some new business from Gem’s gaming accounts. “It’s great to distributed by a financially sound company with a management that has a positive attitude to the future of our business,” he said.

Gem Logistics General Manager Matthew Allen said the new contract was “testament to our dedication to providing strong service levels within the entertainment market.
