Apple iPad set for UK launch in March

Apple said on its website that its new iPad will be available in the United Kingdom by March although it has not indicated prices or announced any deals with UK wi-fi and 3G operators.

There is also no word yet on UK access to the Apple iBook Store. The major United States publishing houses have made agreements with Apple and they all have UK subsidiaries, but discussions have not yet taken place, according to trade publication The Bookseller.
